WHO MAY PARTICIPATE?
All clubs, academies, schools and teams are welcome to participate in the AFS Shepparton Cup. With the growth of the tournament to almost 300 teams in 2019, our goal is to give as many clubs and teams the opportunity to take part and compete in Victoria’s biggest tournament.
Teams will be accepted based on previous performance(s), on a good discipline record and on merit. The tournament begins with a group play, where teams are divided into groups of 4, 5 or 6 teams. All teams will play each team in the group once. Following that, the 1st and 2nd placed teams of the group will qualify for “Cup Knock Out”, while the remaining teams in the group will qualify to the “Plate Knock Out” stages. The tournament is played under all applicable Miniroos or FIFA rules where applicable. Player accident insured is not provided, players will need to signed a consent form by their parent/guardian before playing in the tournament.
LIVE SCORING SYSTEM
All fixtures and results will be updated immediately after the end of the game. Positions in the table will be updated according to all other results too. The automated system will also allow teams to know their knock out game schedules and timings immediately after the group stage fixtures are done. You can get all this info from our tournament app and our website.
Make sure that all your players are insured both on and off the playing field. AFS Shepparton Cup does not provide any player accident insurance protecting participants in case of injury, illness, theft or damage to property. AFS Shepparton Cup will not be held liable or responsible for any damage or injury to any player or parent during the tournament.
CANCELATION OF THE TOURNAMENT AND FORCE MAJEURE
